SWORN est un jeu d'action coopératif de type rogue-like pour 1 à 4 joueurs, dans lequel vous vous aventurez dans un Camelot déchu pour le reprendre à un Arthur corrompu et à ses Chevaliers de la Table Ronde. Que vous jouiez en solo ou avec des amis, vous affronterez des chevaliers légendaires, combinant les forces de vos personnages et maîtrisant leurs capacités pour devenir de redoutables adversaires pour Arthur lui-même. Rencontrez des personnages familiers de la tradition arthurienne et découvrez la force obscure qui se répand sur Avalon. Forgez des alliances avec des personnages emblématiques comme Merlin et Nimue et, en tant que chevalier forgé par l'âme, prêtez allégeance aux Seigneurs des Fées. Choisissez parmi plus de 200 bénédictions uniques pour réaliser votre plein potentiel, peut-être en exploitant les feux purificateurs de Titania ou la fureur du vent d'Oberon.
L'adaptabilité est essentielle dans les champs de bataille dynamiques de Camelot. Mélangez les bénédictions avec des options de personnage, d'armes et de capacités uniques, en expérimentant des milliers de configurations pour devenir un chevalier chevronné. Sworn is an incredibly fun action Roguelite to jump into, especially if you have friends to play with. While it certainly isn't perfect, there's enough here to at least give it a shot. Sworn in its best moments is a game that engages you on several levels and forces you to make difficult decisions while rewarding your hard work. In its worst moments, it's a bit of a slog that will have you questioning your strategy and build. If you like Arthurian legend and thoroughly enjoy Roguelite action with meta-progression, you'll find yourself very pleased with your time in Sworn.

Whilst offering bombastic fun in online multiplayer, this Hades-like roguelite is oddly muted in single-player, an issue likely exacerbated due to the developer failing in making the most of the game's iconic mythological setting. A decently reliable experience then, but one so similar to so many other roguelites you'd have sworn you had already played Sworn before.

Sworn won’t dethrone the giants of the roguelite space, but it’s a strong, enjoyable entry with a clear identity. If you love games built around progression, combat experimentation, and dark fantasy settings, this one is worth your time; especially if you have a few friends ready to dive into Camelot’s ruins with you.
